Welcome to the September edition of FOCUS, where we update you on our forthcoming fundraising events, including the rematch of BHMT FC versus Beder FC on Saturday October 4th at Dorking Wanderer’s stadium in London, kick-off 6pm. This will be the inaugural match where the teams compete for the Beder-Michael trophy, in memory of Beder Mirjan and Michael Beer.
We have exciting news of the BHMT Fun’raising Pub Quiz on Friday November 21st, a time to remember and celebrate Joseph Harris, who died eight years ago on this date. Our chosen charity is BREAK, an East Anglian charity which, for almost 60 years, has supported some of the most disadvantaged young people in society – those who have been taken into care. Let’s start with our final Ironman athlete for 2025, Tom Salmon, who will be competing in the Barcelona IM on Sunday October 5th.
