Welcome to the July edition of FOCUS! It has been another successful month with fundraising activity from Esther Beer and a new event announced by Sean Abbott-Imboden, who was the Charity Secretary for Warwick University Lacrosse Club in 2017/8. After Joseph’s death in 2017, Sean wrote to the Trust (then Dominic Beer Memorial Trust) and we thought you might be interested to read this correspondence here.
To say we are thrilled to announce our next major fundraising event, is an understatement. This is our first application to the Big Give Christmas campaign and we have chosen a football match as our event. We are delighted to be collaborating with Beder in organising this fixture, specifically through their football club, Beder FC.
