A warm welcome to FOCUS and plenty of fundraising activity to share with you including London marathon updates, football news and a report from our featured charity, The Harbour, whom we supported for the first time last year. The Harbour was founded in 1992 as a response to the AIDS crisis and since then, they have helped thousands of people when facing death and navigating grief by providing crucial emotional support.
Thank you once again to Ben Carr KES for flying the BHMT flag, while running the Bath Half Marathon with Jamie Noble.
We were delighted to receive an invitation from KES to the official re-opening of Manor Road Sports Ground, on the afternoon of Saturday 25th April. This event marks an important milestone for the school and begins with a showcase hockey match between a combined King Edward VI School & Old Edwardians XI against an England Masters XI, with the ceremony followed by a Reception. Over twenty international tops, kindly donated to the School by Old Edwardians, will be on show and we are delighted to have the privilege of unveiling Joe Harris’s framed GB triathlon suit as part of this special occasion.
