Welcome to the April edition of FOCUS and despite a lot of showers, there is some serious training going on with our fundraisers this month. In this edition we hear from one of our Welsh 3000 challengers and former Trustee, Naomi Beer.
Our featured charity is Arts and Minds, whom we are supporting for the first time. Based in the centre of Cambridge, they aim to bring the clinically-proven mental health benefits of the Arts to life and run programmes online and across the county. Other new charities we have supported recently are Derbyshire Federation for Mental Health and Break’s Stepping Forward project. Existing charities supported in 2023 include Oakleaf, Off the Fence and Music in Hospitals and Care. All will be featured later on this year.
We will be announcing a new fundraising event shortly; in the meantime, we include a quick reminder of what’s on next.
