Welcome to the July edition of FOCUS, which includes more success stories from our fundraising events, the second 113 Half Ironman and adventures from the Outlaw Ironman. Funds mean we have been able to make grants to new charities, Brendan’s Bridge, a mental health organisation in Gloucestershire, Grow Your Own, who provide therapeutic horticulture services and Taste Life, one of our existing charities, who support young people with eating disorders. Please continue to give generously as your support is much appreciated.
This month’s featured charity is Trust Links, whom we have supported since 2016. Trust Links is a local independent charity aiming to improve mental health, wellbeing and the environment in Southend and Essex. The charity offers therapeutic gardening, recovery classes, social activities, employment training, environmental workshops and more. Last but not least, we are excited to tell you more about our fundraising event for the autumn, “Sessions with Beer, Harris and Freud”. See below for more details.
